The Report of Falun Gong Survey
The Voices of Chinese, USA
Supplied note: "The Voices of Chinese recently conducted a [n email] survey with [the
mainly overseas] Chinese people about their opinions about Falun Gong
and the Chinese government's actions toward Falun Gong. [..] Totally
1064 valid responses were collected [...] 96.2% of the respondents
live overseas. [...] 21% of the respondents are Falun Gong
practitioners, 68% are not, and 11% did not indicate if they are
practitioners or not. [...] Overall, people hold a negative opinion
about Falun Gong. [...] People's opinions about the Chinese
government' actions against Falun Gong also lean toward being negative.
[... Finally,] according to the respondents, [...] Chinese media
are biased by the government control and western media are biased by
anti-China and anti-communist sentiment, or their own political
agenda. People also comment that western media do not fully understand
Falun Gong, as well as the Chinese people and Chinese society."
