"This site publicises the environmental concerns of the Batek, a
hunting and gathering forest-dwelling Orang Asli (original people) of
Pahang, Malaysia. Some of their anxieties and ideas are presented,
together with basic ethnographic information, photos, research
background, bibliographies, and links to related sites. The author is
a Malaysian anthropologist who has spent six years conducting research
with the Batek."
