The Origin of Chess & The Silk Road
Private site, Germany
Supplied note:
"The worldwide Initiativ Group Koenigstein, IGK, founded in 1991, is
searching for the origin of chess.
Was chess created through evolution or revolution? [...] Chess is surely more than 1500 years old. The IGK wants to expand the search
for and research of chess literature and chess artifacts along the Silk
Road, including games older than chess. The IGK, a unique blend of academics
and professionals, can contribute both expertise and experience in a wide
range of disciplines."
