China Labour Bulletin (CLB)
All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Hong Kong, PRC
Self-description:
"The contradictions in China's economy are sharpening as the lethal
combination of the legacy from the command economy and market-reforms
leaves millions of workers destitute and angry. Yet freedom of
association, the most fundamental right of the working class, is still
denied. China Labour Bulletin [est. by the labour activist Han
Dongfang - ed.] seeks to promote independent trade unionism and provide
information on the activities of the official All-China Federation of
Trade Unions [est. 1989], as well as attempts by workers to organise outside it."
