"A non-profit corporation formed in 1997 under the patronage of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama, works to preserve and promote Tibet's unique
cultural heritage. Collaborating with Tibet Fund and Tibet House, the
Conservancy aims to increase public awareness of Tibet's living
cultural heritage by developing projects to preserve the most
threatened aspects of Tibetan culture."
