Supplied note: "The annual meeting of ASIAN Asian Studies on the Pacific Coast (ASPAC) [is] to be held at the University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, Jun 16-18, 2000. [...] Proposals are invited for panels, workshops, papers, and poster presentations on any aspect of Asia. Special attention will be given to proposals marking the beginning of the Korean War and proposals dealing with the cross-cultural experiences of Americans and Asians. Graduate student participation encouraged. The deadline for complete panel (preferred) or individual paper proposals is Feb 7, 2000."
