Eurasian Geopolitics mailing list
www.egroups.com, San Francisco, CA, USA
Supplied information: "General questions affecting all of Eurasia such
as crime and corruption, economic reform, inter-country relations, ethnic
conflicts, peace keeping and peace making, human rights, the role of NGOs,
inter-country relations, arms races and weapons proliferation, and current
developments in individual countries which may be of interest to those
with comparative interests."
[Apparently an unmoderated discussion group. Other related CA groups
on the system are http://www.egroups.com/list/uzbek-news/info.html
& http://www.egroups.com/group/iranian-news/info.html.
The recent proliferation of freely hosted general access specialist mailing lists
may be influenced by the www.egroups.com reward scheme (aka
e-pimping) where hundreds of dollars are paid to a person who sets up
a list dispatching more than one message a week (embellished with commercial
advertisements) to more than 250 subscribers - ed.]
