"The subject of the Orissa Research Programme (ORP) is the Indian State
of Orissa and its archeological, anthropological, historical,
religious, ethnological, artistic and sociological significance. The
project [...] is funded by the German Research Council (DFG - Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft). Beginning in April 1999 scholars of various
fields of research, mainly from Germany and India, will participate in
this programme."
