Budschol - Buddhist Scholars Information List
Toyogakuen University, Japan.
Self-description: The BUDSCHOL@onelist.com was established in May 1999 by Charles Muller (acmuller@human.toyogakuen-u.ac.jp) "to create a medium for the exchange of information regarding resources and events among the English-speaking Buddhist scholarly community. Budschol is a restricted list, with membership limited to those holding advanced degrees in Buddhist studies, or who are currently enrolled in an advanced degree program. Registration to the list by those who fall outside these categories will be considered based on a either a letter of self-introduction, or a letter of recommendation from a current list member."
[Potentially a very useful if not essential resource for/by 200+ scholars who were approached to join the list. The time will tell - ed.]
