Supplied note:
"The 'Ferghana-Valley' Discussion List is an electronic forum aimed at helping
to resolve the social, economic and human development issues of the
Ferghana Valley. The Valley has territory in three countries -
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - and is one of the most critical
regions in Central Asia, with great resources and potential, but also
difficult problems. The 'Ferghana-Valley' [bi-lingual RU, EN] discussion list aims to provide a
forum to learn more about this region and to consider what approaches are
available to resolve the issues it faces.
