September,1998. It contains the analyses and
assessments of retired officers of the Government
of India, with nearly three decades of experience
in dealing with foreign policy & national security
issues. A major contributor of papers to the SAAG Web
site is the Institute For Topical Studies, A-2/3,
Bharathi Dasan Colony, K.K.Nagar, Chennai--600078,
India, (Tele.Fax No.44-4895235) which, since
October,1994, has been bringing out papers on
foreign policy and national security issues.
B.Raman, the Director of the Institute, retired as
Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat,
Govt. of India, in August,1994."
