Self-description:
"A medium for the
dissemination of news about Armenian life around the world. It
started as a small mailing list of friends on the Internet around
1988 [...]
Groong provides news from as large a variety of sources as
possible. We've been lucky to have news from Noyan Tapan, sometimes
ArmenPress, and occasionally Snark, from Armenia. Western wires are
well represented: AP/Reuters, Dow Jones/Walls Street Journal, various
US and canadian Newspapers, and sometimes we even have translations of
articles from foreign language newspapers [incl.] news from Azeri and Turkish sources
[...]
Groong is FREE, and open for everyone to join."
