"GANDI is a newly formed anti-discrimination movement in Indonesia
whose mission is to preserve and foster the unity of the people of
Indonesia based on the principle of equality in our strive towards a
democratic, prosperous and equitable society.
One of its main objectives is to identify and eliminate the state
sanctioned discriminatory laws that are based on race or religion. It
also seeks to re-educate the Indonesian people in mutual tolerance and
encourage policies that will foster treatment of equal rights in the
society."
