founded in December 1995, is a
non-profit organisation based in Kalimpong,
Darjeeling District, Eastern Himalayas.
The Centre offers residential, library and workshop
facilities to individual researchers or small groups
(max. 8 people)to pursue study and research on
Indo-Tibetan and allied medical cultures.
ITTM projects:
1. Glossary of Sanskrit and Tibetan medical terms
with English and German equivalents
2. Bibliography of Tibetan medical literature
3. Organic cultivation of medicinal plants
4. 'Ayurvijnana', the bi-annual ITTM periodical on
Indo-Tibetan medicine,published twice a year."
