"A new Internet journal [about to be] launched [...]. A
meeting place for specialists interested in different cultural
areas, from various domains, that otherwise seldom come together:
from sociology, history, cultural anthropology and psychology to
philosophy, cognitive and nonlinear sciences. Each issue focuses
on a certain topic and encourages contributors to approach it
from different directions, stimulating new insights (Vol. E1 No.1
/ 1998: 'Change in Meanings and in Values' - social and economic
change, culture shock, culture contact, transformation of
thinking patterns, mutations through learning)."
[The ancient Greek word 'paideuma' suggests 'a place where
something is generated, a place where you learn'. Currently
