Japanese Network for South Asian Studies (JP-SAS)
Japanese Network for South Asian Studies, Japan
Supplied note:
"This Network is established by personal efforts of FUKUNAGA and
supported by several South Asian scholars in Japan. Then, JP-SAS is
the private site, not connected to the any official Institutions,
Associations, and Government Agencies. The primary purpose of JP-SAS is
to enable all of the South Asia Scholars whose major language is
other than Japanese, to easily communicate the South Asia Research
activities in Japan. JP-SAS is the only one site which dispatches the
South Asian Research Information of Japan."
Site contents: Profile of the JP-SAS, The Japanese Directory of South
Asia Research Institutes, Conferences and Research Meetings in Japan,
The List of Publications for South Asian Studies in Japan.
[Site established in late Nov 1997 and under heavy construction, hence
the inevitable teething problems, including an announcement (email and
WWW) of an incorrect web address - ed.]
