Institute of Oriental Studies, The Russian Academy of Sciences,
Russia
Self-description: "The Server was launched in 1997. EAOS is a powerful
tool for using the virtual Internet space for co-operation of large
ans small research groups working in the different Centres of Oriental
Studies both in Russia and abroad. The electronic publications of
these research groups, the main international activities and the
oriental historical sources kept in the archives, libraries, museums,
etc., are to be accumulated on the Server."
