The newsletter was established in Apr 1994 and is the Internet's
oldest [it currently archives over 30 monthly issues] and, so far, only electronic periodical
tracking, evaluating and publicizing factual details of new or
improved Asia-Pacific networked information resources.
The newsletter (ISSN 1323-9368), edited by Dr T.Matthew Ciolek of the
Australian National University, is a part of the Asian Studies
WWW Virtual Library

Daily announcements and contents' summaries published in the web edition of the Newsletter are also
disseminated on the network via a mailing list.
