Search for unpublished papers of C.v.Hügel (1795-1870)

Information is sought on the whereabouts and/or fate of missing
unpublished travel journals and other papers of Baron Charles (Carl)
von Hügel (1795-1870) - Austrian soldier,
diplomat, courtier, horticulturist and scholar. Between 1831 and 1836
Hügel carried out extensive botanical and ethnographical studies
in Greece, Egypt, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Tripoli, Palestine, South
India, Ceylon, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, Australia, New Zealand,
Norfolk Island, Philippines, China, Macao, Malaya, North India,
Kashmir, Afghanistan, Himalayas and Punjab.
