The Congressional Research Service, in the Library of Congress, is the
"think tank" that works exclusively for Members and committees of the
U.S. Congress. Abstracts of the CRS are arranged under topical
hyperlinks. Section on "The New Nations of the Former Soviet Union"
covers: Baltic countries, Central Asia region, Caucasus region,
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine,
