The PNG WWW VL site has been up since Jan 96 and has been
receiving a steady 700 hits a month since March. The main
growth for our region is not expected to be in PNG-content
sites, although that would be welcome, but in nearby places
and 'issues' sites, e.g. Irian Jaya, Freeport, logging in
New Caledonia, etc. Do suggest links that we may have missed
at ANU, and do look in at the What Tribe is That? subsite
(http://coombs.anu.edu.au/SpecialProj/PNG/WhatTribe.html).
There seem to be teething problems with the display of some
pages. Please give feedback. Suggestions for additions very
welcome.
