The Lontar Foundation: Indonesian Literature in Translation
The Lontar Foundation, Indonesia
The Lontar Foundation is a private not for profit organization established in
1987 for the purpose of: 1.promoting appreciation of Indonesian literature and
culture; 2.supporting the work of authors and translators of Indonesian
literature; 3.improving the quality of publication and distribution of
Indonesian literary works and translations. Lontar has made excerpts of its
publications available at this site.
