Philippine Dialect - Cebuano (Visayan) Phrase Book
members.aol.com, USA
Cebuano or Visayan is the most popular language spoken in the Philippines. Tagalog is merely the language of the ruling class. Little time has been spent on the study of this language, except for some recent attempts by missionaries working in the Davao area. Both travel and business would benefit from this type of Phrase Book. Site contents: pronunciation; salutation and farewells; interjections & exclamations; beginning conversations; statements; polite phrases; requests; questions; hotels and lodging; foods and eating; travel; shopping and bargaining; body needs; feelings; body parts; traits of people; relations; around the house; antonyms; time and weather; days of the week; months; numbers.
