East Timor Images: 1942 to 1996

Fifty years of Photojournalism on East Timor. Selections from an
exhibition titled "Betrayed, But Not Beaten" put together by Dr Andrew
McNaughton and recently shown at Univ. of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Photographers whose work was displayed included: Damian Parer, Elaine
Briere, Penny Tweedie, Oliver Strewe, Mike Richardson, Peter Rodgers,
Jenny Groves, Ross Bird, Steve Cox and Max Stahl, as well as
organisations such as Reuters (NY), 'Sydney Morning Herald' and the
Melbourne 'Age'.
