Reasons for Changes in Final Submission

When I made my initial submission after only 4 days pondering due to late arrival for the semester, I intended dealing with the actual processes involved in producing table grapes or dried grapes or wine and at the same time making available some information on the Murray-Darling Basin. After a little more thought and conversation with various other students and aquaintances, I realized that the history of the opening up of the lower end of the Murray for settlement just over 100 years ago was a topic that was more important as I found noone who had any inkling of it. I therefore modified the project accordingly.

I have enjoyed this unit, and feel I have learned some worthwhile skills despite the frustration of coming to terms with the fact that everything seemed to take 19 times longer than I thought it would even after I had started to grasp the concepts and techniques involved. The UNIX book recommended by Dr Findlay that I ordered from the Coop bookshop in week three finally arrived on Friday due mostly to the industrial bans I am informed by the bookstore, but not to worry, I have the book now and Unix is still out there. I went to the Art History department towards the end of first semester to try to obtain the course outline and was told it was not yet available. I realise now that it was available online and would suggest that perhaps a notice posted on the departmental noticeboard informing prospective students of how to access it may be an idea for next year.
